Texas Injunction Lawyer

Texas Injunction Lawyer: protecting clients’ rights using the Texas Injunction process.

Texas Injunction Lawyer: An injunction (or TRO) is an order issued by a court that is known as an “equitable remedy” and is designed to grant you relief against the violation or threatened violation of your rights when other remedies are inadequate. Sometimes the courts grant an injunction simply because it is the right thing to do to keep the situation from changing. For instance, we once obtained an injunction for a lender to keep a business owner from selling the assets that were the collateral for the loan. The injunction might also be granted to keep someone from violating a law and the order normally is granted to prevent someone from taking a specific action. There is a great deal of information about Temporary Restraining Orders and Temporary Injunctions on this site, but it is not comprehensive and only touches on the highlights of this type of action in Texas. If you have a question, send us an email by clicking here.

Injunctions are labor intensive and are sometimes complicated devices. But they are very effective in those circumstances where you need to stop someone from violating your rights.

Although we frequently seek Temporary Restraining Orders and Temporary Injunctions, we also defend against them for many of our clients. We can assist you whether you are seeking a TRO or defending against them.

Sometimes we blog about our injunction matters. Click here to review those entries.
